Rick’s life in manufacturing began at a young age in his father’s stamping business. His father’s desire was to instill a strong work ethic and values in Rick. With that in mind, his Dad literally taught him from the ground up. Rick’s first job was sweeping floors and cleaning machinery.

After completing his apprenticeship for die-making at his father’s business, Rick decided to move on. The goal was to test his skills and gain more significant experience in the manufacturing industry. Eventually, circumstances required Rick to return and run the family business. His ability to solve problems and manage the entire process was evident. That experience prepared him for several leadership positions over the years.

Rick has built a reputation among his peers as being meticulous, a go-getter, and a problem solver. His ability to see the vision, streamline production, reduce program lead times, and improve quality has kept him in high demand. If you talk to Rick, you will find that although he is quite passionate about manufacturing, he is more excited about people. According to him, mentoring, training, and empowering people to succeed are some of the most rewarding aspects of his career.
